The Voice That Rocked America – Rescheduled
Filmmaker Pamela Enzweiler-Pulice will present a prevue of her documentary and a follow up question and answer session about the legendary DJ who introduced The Beatles to U.S. radio audiences, sang “On Top of a Pizza”, entertained teenagers with corny knock knock jokes, and created a lasting bond with his legions of loyal listeners. The Voice That Rocked America is a one-hour documentary about Hall of Fame Radio Disc Jockey, Dick Biondi. Dick’s connection with audiences endured for six decades, and the bands he promoted have never forgotten his generosity. His story is told through archival photos and footage, re-creations, and interviews with recording artists, broadcasters, fans, friends and Dick Biondi himself.
